Yoko London is known for collecting some of the rarest and most beautiful pearls in the world, and now jewellery connoisseurs will have the chance to view its spectacular collection in a plush new store in London’s Knightsbridge.
The British jewellery house has been creating pearl jewellery since 1970s, and while you can find its jewels at stores around the globe, including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, its own store at 8 Knightsbridge Green will house a much larger selection of its designs. This will include its Masterpiece Collection – one-of-a-kind sets of pearl jewellery of the highest value.
The store itself, just next to Hyde Park Corner station, is a study in luxury. Step within the understated limestone building and you’ll find yourself surrounded by opulent Emperador marble, gleaming brass, Alcantara suede and natural leathers.
An original Victoria spiral staircase connects the three floors of the Yoko London store. Ascend its black and gold steps to discover a VIP area created to receive customers in comfort, allowing for relaxed discussions, viewings and bespoke commissions.
“The opening of our luxurious new flagship boutique marks new heights for the Yoko London brand,” says Michael Hakimian, chief executive of the third generation jeweller. “We are thrilled to bring our unique jewellery to one of London’s finest areas. It gives us the opportunity to showcase more of our exquisite pearl designs to London’s diverse and discerning customers, and provide a range of bespoke services to out valued clients.”
